Artec Design developed the electronics for +iD – the world’s smallest ID card reader that is lightweight (5g) and compact (57mm [L] x 7.7mm [H] x 12.56mm [W]). It is used for a variety of applications, including:
- E-identification
- E-government
- E-banking
- E-payment
- E-healthcare PKI
- Digital signatures and access control systems
+iD has been an official e-Residency ID card reader since 2015, furthermore, it was included in the gift selection for the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
